Understanding refunds and cancellations on Staykal
Flexible
Best for short notice trips- Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before check-in
- No refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before check-in
- Service fee refunded for all eligible cancellations
Moderate
Most common policy- Full refund if cancelled at least 5 days before check-in
- 50% refund if cancelled 1-5 days before check-in
- No refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before check-in
Strict
For premium properties- Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking AND at least 14 days before check-in
- 50% refund if cancelled at least 7 days before check-in
- No refund within 7 days of check-in
How to Cancel
To cancel a booking, go to your Account Dashboard, find your booking under "My Bookings", and click "Cancel Booking". Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Extenuating Circumstances
In cases of serious, unexpected events (natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions, serious illness), Staykal may offer full refunds outside normal cancellation policies. Documentation may be required.
